A layer comp is a snapshot of a state of the Layers panel.
Designers often create multiple compositions or comps of a page layout to show clients. Using layer comps, you can create, manage, and view multiple versions of a layout in a single Photoshop file.
Layer comps are the true power of the 60 Second Shirt Shop. You really can produce a mock-up in 60 seconds if you embrace the layer comps and let them do most of the work for you. We have provided a number of new template/examples for you in the Layer Comps panel to get you started. From there, just drop your art in the Art folder and you are practically done.
You can find more info on layer comps here and here.
The 60s Shirt Shop Pro versions are as full featured as it gets with advanced controls for shadows, masks, garment effects, atmospheres, selections, notes, ink colors.... and much, much more per product. A few examples.. but certainly not a full list are:
Apparel designers, especially t-shirt designers are font-a-holics and for good reason. A good font arsenal is a essential tool for one-liners, branded shirts and typography masterpieces. Here are a few of our favorites.
Tip: keep them backed up. These fonts come and go from these sites and if you ever need to dig the font out again you’re better of rummaging through old CDs than searching the font sites for that old font.
“You can open AI and PDF files by using the File > Open command as you would any CorelDRAW file, or you can import them. When you open AI and PDF files, they are opened as CorelDRAW files. When you import AI and PDF files, they are imported as grouped objects and can be placed anywhere within your current drawing.”
It's been our experience that Corel handles PSD files in a very limited way. It DOES NOT use Layer Comps and therefor removes much of the ease of use and quick changes that our PRO shirt shops offer. The lite versions and the model shirt shops import just fine. If you feel like you know much more about Corel than us and you want to to test your luck, good luck to you, but you're doing it at your own risk.
